Pentax KP digital SLR

The Pentax KP is a digital SLR designed for enthusiast photographers. It features the 24.3-Megapixel APS-C CMOS sensor which is capable of recording Full HD video at up to 1920x1080 (60i/50i/30p/25p/24p) and native ISO sensitivity to a maximum of ISO 100. The AF system is SAFOX 11 TTL phase-matching - 27 points (25 cross type focus points in the center), Auto (27 AF points), Zone select, Select, Expanded Area (S, M, L), Spot; Contrast detection AF in Live View with Face detection, Tracking, Multiple AF points, Select, Spot AF area modes.

The shutter speed range in the KP is 1/24000 - 30 sec, plus bulb and metering modes. The rear of the KP is dominated by its 3.0-inch display with about 921,600 dots (307,200 px) of resolution. It comes with a optical viewfinder with approximately 23.3mm. The viewfinder has 0.95x magnification, which is a 35mm equivalent of 0.63x magnification.

When we look at the Pentax KP grip, the dimensions are 5.2 x 4.0 x 3.0 in. (132 x 101 x 76 mm) and it weighs 24.7 oz (699 g) includes batteries body-only. The camera comes with USB 2.0 Micro B (SlimPort compatable; SlimPort-HDMI adapter required for HDMI output), 3.5mm external stereo mic / cable switch jack, external power terminal. The Proprietary D-LI109 battery on the KP can shoot at up to 390 shots per charge.
